From Lady to Boycut Unveiling the history of fashion around the 1920’s

By textile historian Ditte Kröner

In this talk you will hear about the fashion in the beginning of the 20’th century and how it corresponds with the general fights for freedom and the right to vote among other things and how that change also spurged the development in social norms.

We will not only get acquainted with the flapper girls, but also look at the “newly”working women, the dandy, the boyish girls and the girlish boys, and all in between. Be welcome for a dive into fashion and history in the jazz age.
