Under festivalen visar vi i år även The Call of Cthulhu.
The Call of Cthulhu är en oberoende stumfilm från 2005 av H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society, producerad av Sean Branney och Andrew Leman. Den är gjord efter Lovecrafts novell ”The Call of Cthulhu”.
Det är den första filmatiseringen av den berömda Lovecraft-berättelsen och använder Mythoscope, en blandning av vintage och moderna filmtekniker avsedd att reproducera utseendet av en film från 1920-talet.

During the Festival, we will this year also have a screening of The Call of Cthulhu.
The Call of Cthulhu is a 2005 independent silent film by the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society, produced by Sean Branney and Andrew Leman. It is based on Lovecraft’s short story ”The Call of Cthulhu.”
It is the first film adaptation of the famous Lovecraft story and uses Mythoscope, a blend of vintage and modern filming techniques intended to reproduce the look of a 1920s-era film.
